We are a welcoming congregation that is dedicated to encouraging and growing in our faith together. We believe in the authority of the Bible and strive to live according to its teachings. PREACHING AND TEACHING
Preaching is an essential part of challenging and growing the faith of believers. We strive to provide relevant and biblical teachings that inspire spiritual growth and equip members to live out their faith in their daily lives.
MUSIC
Music is an important aspect of worship and praise to God. We have choirs for multiple ages and encourage lively congregational hymn singing, as well as special music selections.
MINISTRY
We provide a variety of ministry opportunities, such as public evangelism and serving in local nursing homes, to give members the chance to serve and make an impact in the lives of others.
Do good people go to Heaven?
Yes, they certainly would go to Heaven…if there were any people good enough!
People often say, “If I do the best I can and treat everyone fairly, I’ll go to Heaven.” But have any of us done the best we can or treated everyone fairly? A religious leader in the Bible once asked Jesus Christ: “Master, which is the great commandment in the law?” Without hesitation Jesus answered, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” Matthew 22:36-39
Has anyone fully kept this supreme law of God? The Bible answers that no mortal can keep God’s law, nor can one reach Heaven by trying: “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no one be justified in His (God’s) sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” Romans 3:20. When we compare our lives to God’s holy standards, all our good works – our morality, religion, charity, pleasing personality – fall far short of His absolute righteousness. The truth is: “There is none righteous, no, not one…” Romans 3:10 We stand condemned by a holy God who must judge our sin. We are sinners in need of a Savior. It is impossible then for anyone to be good enough for Heaven. That is why the Son of God came to earth. The Lord Jesus said, “I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Matthew 9:13
On the Cross of Calvary Jesus opened the way for sinners to stand before a righteous God. There He suffered for our sins as the Prophet Isaiah wrote: “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:6The Lord Jesus took the punishment for our sins so that we could be declared righteous before God. He “who knew no sin” bore our sins on the cross being made “sin for us…that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21
Do “good” people go to Heaven? No! But through the righteousness of Jesus Christ, sinners like you and me can be sure of Heaven as our final destination. Come to Jesus Christ today. Don’t try to prepare yourself for Heaven. Let Him prepare you and give you His gift of everlasting life.What does a person need to do to accept this invaluable gift? Simply repent, believe, ask, and receive.
Salvation
1 / You must repent
To repent is to see your condition as God sees it an to express sorrow. In this case, you repent of your sin. “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation…” (2 Corinthians 7:10). You must admit to God that you are a sinner deserving of Hell because of your sin. Repentance is also a sincere turning away from sin to God. The Bible states “…that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance” (Acts 26:20).
2 / You must believe
Believing is more than just acknowledging that Jesus Christ exists. The Bible says, “…the devils also believe, and tremble” (James 2:19). True believing is placing your compelte confidence in Him and His ability to save you. “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). You must believe with all your heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He died on the cross to save you. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;…” (Romans 10:9-10).
3 / You must ask
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). To call upon the Lord is to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sin and save you from an eternity in Hell. You must pray and ask, “for…with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:10).
4. You must receive. To receive something, you must take it. Salvation is offered as a free gift from God. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

The Bible says, “For by grace are ye saved…it is the gift of God:” (Ephesians 2:8). Like any gift, it is not yours until you receive it. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John 1:12). You must pray and tell the Lord that you wish to receive His wonderful gift of eternal life!
Statement of Faith
Scriptures
We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men supernaturally inspired; that it is truth without any admixture of error for its matter; and therefore is, and shall remain to the end of the age, the only complete and final revelation of the will of God to man, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions should be tried.
a) By the “Holy Bible” we mean that collection of sixty-six books, from Genesis to Revelation, which as originally written does not only contain and convey the Word of God, but IS the very Word of God. We believe the “Holy Bible,” as it appears in the English language, is the Authorized 1611 King James Bible. We believe this Bible is the product of God’s watchful hand of preservation.
b) By “inspiration” we mean that the books of the Bible were spoken first by holy men of old, as they were moved by the Holy Spirit according to II Peter 1:21, in such a definite way that their writings were supernaturally and verbally inspired and free from error, as no other writings have ever been or will ever be inspired.

Freeness of Salvation
We believe in God’s electing grace; that the blessings of salvation are made free to all by the Gospel; that it is the immediate duty of all to accept them by a cordial, penitent, and obedient faith; that nothing prevents the salvation of the greatest sinner on earth but his own inherent depravity and voluntary rejection of the Gospel, which rejection involves him in an aggravated condemnation.

True God
We believe that there is one, and only one, living and true God, an infinite, intelligent Spirit, the Maker and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth, inexpressibly glorious in holiness, and worthy of all possible honor, confidence, and love; that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, equal in every divine perfection and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption.

Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person, equal with God the Father and God the Son, and of the same nature; that He was active in the creation; that in His relation to the unbelieving world He restrains Satan until God’s purpose is fulfilled; that He convicts of sin, of judgment, and of righteousness; that He bears witness to the truth of the Gospel in preaching and testimony; that He is the agent in the New Birth; that He seals, endues, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies, and helps the believer.

Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Ghost in a miraculous manner, born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man was ever born or can ever be born of a woman, and that He is both the Son of God and God the Son.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice; and, that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate.

Fall of Man
We believe that man was created in innocence under the law of his Maker, but by voluntary transgression fell from his sinless and happy state, in consequence of which all mankind are now sinners, not by constraint but of choice, and are therefore under just condemnation without defense or excuse.

Atonement for Sin
We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace through the mediatorial offices of the Son of God, Who, by appointment of the Father, freely took upon Him our nature, yet without sin honored the divine law by His personal obedience by His death, and by the shedding of His blood made a full and vicarious atonement for our sins; that His atonement consisted not in setting us an example by His death as a martyr, but was the voluntary substitution of Himself in the sinner’s place, the just dying for the unjust, The Lord Jesus Christ, bearing our sins in His own body on the tree; that, having risen from the dead, He is now enthroned in heaven and has united in His wonderful Person the tenderest sympathies with divine perfection; that He is in every way qualified to be a suitable, compassionate, and all-sufficient Saviour.

Grace in the New Creature in Jesus Christ
We believe that in order to be saved, sinners must be born again; that the new birth results in a new creature in Christ Jesus; that it is instantaneous and not a process; that in the new birth, the one dead in trespasses and in sins is made a partaker of the divine nature and receives eternal life, the free gift of God; that the new birth is brought about in a manner beyond our comprehension, not by culture, not by character, nor by the will of man, but solely by the power of the Holy Spirit in connection with divine truth, so as to secure our voluntary obedience to the Gospel; that its proper evidence appears in the holy fruits of repentance and faith and newness of life.

Justification
We believe that the great Gospel blessing which Christ secures to such as believe in Him is justification; that justification includes the pardon of sin and the gift of eternal life on principles of righteousness; that it is bestowed not in consideration of any works of righteousness which we have done, but solely through faith in the Redeemer’s blood. His righteousness is imputed unto us.

Repentance and Faith
We believe that repentance and faith are solemn obligations and inseparable graces, wrought in our souls by the quickening Spirit of God, thereby being deeply convicted of our guilt, danger, and helplessness, and of the way of salvation by Christ, we turn to God with unfeigned contrition, confession, and supplication for mercy, at the same time heartily receiving the Lord Jesus Christ and openly confessing Him as our only and all-sufficient Saviour.

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion in water of a believer, done in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Baptism is performed under the authority of the local church to show forth in a solemn and beautiful emblem our faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Saviour. Baptism pictures our death to sin and resurrection to a new life. It is a prerequisite to the privileges of church membership and participation in the Lord’s Supper.
The Lord’s Supper commemorates the death of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the bread representing His body that was broken for us, and the fruit of the vine representing His blood that was shed for us. Before partaking of these elements each person should examine himself, “For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.”

Eternal Security
We believe that the new birth is a one time event even as physical birth is a one time event. Eternal life is the result of being born into an eternal family. The words “eternal,” “everlasting,” and “forever” are used to describe our redemption, our life with God, and how long the Holy Spirit abides with us. Because our salvation is entirely God’s work, and our keeping is entirely God’s work, we can have full confidence that nothing “…shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
