About the Pastor

Charlie was at Old Paths from the very beginning. He grew up in a Christian home and trusted Christ as his Savior when he was a young boy. 

 

He came on staff at Old Paths in 2003 and served for 10 years as an assistant pastor before moving to Greece as a missionary. After 10 years in Greece, the Barkowskis were asked by the founding pastors of Old Paths if the family would consider returning to the US for Charlie to become the new pastor of the church. In January of 2025, Charlie became the new pastor of Old Paths.

He and his wife, Rachel, have been married for over 20 years and have been blessed with 5 wonderful children. They have been in full-time ministry from the very beginning of their marriage. Rachel was also saved at a young age and grew up being involved in ministry from a young age as well as the oldest daughter in the Jim Walker family, full-time evangelists for years.
